Complaints Process

Complaints typically address issues related to editorial conduct, ethical concerns, publishing integrity, or severe procedural failures.

1. Who to Contact:

  • First, contact the Editor-in-Chief (EiC) or the Handling Editor involved, detailing the issue.

  • If unresolved or if the complaint is about the EiC, contact the Publisher or the Journal’s Editorial Office.

2. How to Submit:

  • Send a formal email with "Complaint" and your Manuscript ID in the subject line.

  • Provide a clear, factual description of the issue, relevant dates, correspondence, and any evidence.

  • State the resolution you are seeking.

3. Process & Outcome:

  • The recipient will acknowledge your complaint and investigate.

  • They may consult relevant parties (e.g., editorial board, ethics committee).

  • You will receive a decision and explanation. Escalation paths (e.g., to the publisher's ombudsman) may exist for unresolved serious complaints.
