Abstract

This study investigates the impact of green taxation, industrialization, and innovation on environmental pollution in SAARC countries. Rapid economic growth and industrial expansion have significantly increased carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, creating serious environmental concerns in the region. The primary objective of this research is to examine whether green tax policies can effectively reduce environmental degradation while sustaining economic development, along with assessing the role of innovation in promoting environmental sustainability. The findings of this study are expected to provide empirical evidence on the effectiveness of green taxation and innovation in reducing CO₂ emissions. The study will offer important policy implications for achieving sustainable development by balancing environmental protection with industrial growth in SAARC economies.
