Waiver-Eligibility

The image you sent shows the archiving policy of the Indus Journal of Animal and Plant Sciences (IJAPS). The policy states that all articles published in the journal are archived in the following repositories:

  • PubMed Central: A free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
  • DOAJ: Directory of Open Access Journals, a community-curated directory of open access journals.
  • Sherpa/Romeo: A database of publishers' copyright policies on self-archiving.

The policy also states that authors may request a waiver of the archiving requirements if their article falls into one of the following categories:

  • Articles that contain confidential or proprietary information: Authors may request a waiver if their article contains confidential or proprietary information that cannot be made publicly available.
  • Articles that are published in a language other than English: Authors may request a waiver if their article is published in a language other than English.
  • Articles that are published in a journal that is not indexed in PubMed Central or DOAJ: Authors may request a waiver if their article is published in a journal that is not indexed in PubMed Central or DOAJ.
