Waiver-Eligibility

The Indus Journal of Bioscience Research (IJBR) offers a waiver of the article processing charge (APC) for authors from low-income countries. To be eligible for a waiver, authors must:

  • Be affiliated with an academic institution or research organization in a low-income country as defined by the World Bank.
  • Have a valid ORCID ID.
  • Submit a letter from their institution's financial administrator stating that the author is unable to afford the APC.

The letter must be uploaded to the IJBR website along with the manuscript. The IJBR editorial board will review the letter and make a decision on the waiver request.

The following countries are considered low-income countries for the purposes of the IJBR APC waiver:
